My Background
My background is a bit complicated. I was born in Saudi Arabia to Egyptian parents and moved to England when I was young.
I spent most of my childhood in England, but my family and I also frequently visited Egypt to see relatives. Growing up immersed in both British and Egyptian cultures has been a very valuable experience for me.
My parents often spoke to me in Arabic, and I frequently replied in English, so I naturally grew up surrounded by two languages and cultures. From this experience, I've come to believe that language is not merely a means of communication, but something essential that connects people and cultures.

My Experience
I left home when I was 18 and began to think more deeply about my interests and passions. I studied archaeology at university and was strongly drawn to how people's lives and cultures differed greatly from era to era.
My interest in travel grew during my university years, and I visited Japan for the first time when I was 19. I traveled around Kyoto, Gifu, Nagoya, Toyama, and Tokyo, and was strongly drawn to Japanese culture, scenery, and daily life.
After that, I began to think, "I want to go back to Japan again and learn more about the culture, food, and daily life," so after graduating from graduate school, I found a job in Japan and moved there.
In Japan, I was involved in English education at English conversation schools and international schools. Through that experience, I became aware of the anxieties that Japanese learners often feel when speaking English, and the struggle of "being able to understand but finding it difficult to speak naturally."

What I Do at NAZUFI ENGLISH
At NAZUFI ENGLISH, we provide practical English lessons tailored to each student's individual goals and level.
In our lessons, we prioritize not just memorizing English, but also enabling students to use it in real conversations and everyday life. We create a comfortable atmosphere where students can speak freely, and we support them in gradually building their confidence in using English.
Furthermore, since everyone has different goals for learning English, we tailor the content to each individual's objectives, such as everyday conversation, English necessary for specialized fields, or preparation for studying abroad or employment.
Rather than focusing on speaking English perfectly, I prioritize the importance of trying to communicate in your own words, and I strive to create lessons that are enjoyable and easy to continue.

Having grown up surrounded by multiple cultures and languages, and having lived and worked in Japan, I have come to realize that language can broaden a person's world.

About Me (English)
I'm Afnan Ezzeldin, a native English tutor raised in Leeds, United Kingdom.
I was born in Saudi Arabia to Egyptian parents and moved to the UK when I was very young. Growing up between British and Egyptian cultures helped me understand how language can connect people, cultures, and different ways of life.
I studied Archeology at the University of Chester, where I became fascinated by how people's lives and cultures have changed throughout history. During my university years, I also developed a strong interest in traveling, and my first visit to Japan at the age of 19 made a lasting impression on me.
After completing my Master's degree, I moved to Japan for work and gained experience teaching English at English conversation schools and international school settings.
At NAZUFI ENGLISH, I mainly teach online English lessons with a focus on natural British English, daily conversation, and practical expressions. I aim to create friendly and supportive lessons where learners can build confidence step by step.
